About the artwork:Slice of Memory is an artwork that shows my childhood home, a one bedroom house with five family members. My fondest memories lie amongst these walls and mezzanine where I learnt to dream, where I played imaginary games and experienced simple pleasures of life. My grandmother, we called her Badimama, was omnipresent in all my childhood memories and was a calming force in our chaotic lives.
